Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area.

Liberia International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Daniel Oduber Quirós) and the National Park are each a 90-minute drive from the hotel. A shuttle service is available at a surcharge. We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

There's a shared outdoor kitchen for all guests, air-conditioning, a cold jacuzzi, wifi and satellite TV's in each room. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The room and property were beautiful. They have a dog named Spencer that reminds me of Dwayne Johnson...buff, friendly, and sooo sweet! The beach is literally around the corner. One of the main grocery stores is around the other corner. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you guys!!

I really enjoyed the quiet location and the nice walk to a very private beach. The pool was fantastic, but above all, what was incredible for me was that I was able to bring my dogs. They were free to roam on the property and on the quiet road outside. That was the cherry on top for me:)

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Totobe was was my greatest stay in Costa Rica over the last 2 weeks. I planned to be there one night which turned into 3. Imaani is the best hostess and her Team of 2 make the most welcoming experience, including fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Thank you, Totobe.

The staff was friendly and professional, the cocktails in the pool side restaurant were generous and expertly mixed, and the homemade ice cream was decadent and delicious. Guacamaya Lodge is so perfect in itself, and yet, with its location a few hundred yards from a breathtaking, expansive beach, your greatest dilemma will be whether to lounge poolside sipping mojitos, or get some exercise and head to the playa. Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach.

The Mexican and Persian theme bungalows offer air conditioning and a fan, while the African Bungalow has a ceiling fan and offers a kitchenette. All bungalows come with a private entrance, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a private terrace with comfortable chairs and garden views. The bathrooms are private and have hot-water showers. Staff was accomodating. Location and vibe is unique. The swimming pool and table tennis were great additions.
