Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area.
Liberia International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Daniel Oduber Quirós) and the National Park are each a 90-minute drive from the hotel. A shuttle service is available at a surcharge.

We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The room and property were beautiful. They have a dog named Spencer that reminds me of Dwayne Johnson...buff, friendly, and sooo sweet! The beach is literally around the corner. One of the main grocery stores is around the other corner. I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you guys!!

The 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms was spacious and bright. The pool area was beautiful and serene. The daily yoga class was wonderful and perfect for all levels of yoga expertise. The property is a short walk to the beach and all the lovely restaurants along the beach.

Everything. It's a beautiful dome with a huge comfortable bed and great views. Delicious breakfast and lovely hosts. The only mistake we made was to book for just one night. Should have stayed at least two 😊. Can highly recommend

Absolutely amazing place! You're right in the jungle and surrounded by trees and plants 🌿🌴🌱. They have a beautiful outdoor kitchen with pool and jungle view. It's a nice place to meet other travellers and socialize. Everything was very clean and well equipped. It's a quiet and relaxing place to stay and you can do yoga here or get a massage (although Americans have ruined the prices here so you will pay American prices 🤦🏻♀️) The location is also excellent! Super close to restaurants and the beach. Highly recommended this place

The dogs & cats are friendly, and some enjoy cuddles 😉. We enjoyed the cozy pool area. The spacious cabin as well as the overall compound are held clean & lush with tangible care. Since there are only two cabins for rent, the place is quiet and relaxing.

It is a bit outside of Sámara which was nice to have a calm and peaceful stay. They are taking care of the environment around and you can have fresh fruit for breakfast. The hut is tiny but equipped with everything you need throughout your stay. We were received a heartwarming welcome and got all the information we needed.

View from the deck, pool and lookout were amazing! Quiet in that area beside the main house. Lovely greenery and plantings. Family run, Eric was very friendly and spoke English very well. Their dog Bobby was friendly and well behaved. Kitchen tiny but had necessities. Martina recommended Carrillo beach which was beautiful.

The pools and the restaurant were outstanding. What we loved the most is the shuttle and the provided chairs at the nearby beach by the hotel. The Playa Carrillo was on our whole trip the most beutiful beach of Costa Rica we have seen so far. We enjoyed our stay here so much, thank you!

Everything was very clean and comfortable und the pool area was beautiful! furthermore, the receptionist Kevin gave us great tips about the area and was open for all the questions that we had !
