The nicest hosts you will ever meet. Señora Tita and Señor Pedro are very enthusiastic about the area and provide a great experience for their guests. They were eager to give us recommendations about tours, restaurants and just general knowledge about Chiloé. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable, with big rooms and multiple bathrooms. It is located less than a minute away from the municipal bus terminal, where all the long distance buses to and from the island go.

This hotel is absolutely lovely and located right on the lake. The views were beautiful and the room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good, with homemade bread and jams. There are also several good restaurants and Chiloe National park entrance within walking distance. Great place, I highly recommend!

Lovely design-the hotel incorporates local wood and is cozy and surrounded by plants and flowers. Breakfast included drip ground coffee (as opposed to the ubiquitous instant), homemade whole wheat bread, scrambled eggs and jam. Bikes and kayaks are available to rent and the entrance to Chiloe National Park is a short walk away. The staff were very friendly.

Been travelling for 1 month through Chile and this is one of the best hostel I ve been to. For sure the most clean! Sandro and Ledy are amazing, friendly and explained me how to move around Chiloé island and which are the best places to go. Everything is new and well maintened. Comfortable bed and good price. We loved the lodge-like atmosphere and great water view from our room, which was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Plenty of parking. Communal breakfast was ample and a fun way to meet fellow travelers who provided recommendations on Chiloe sightseeing and interesting insight into life in Chile. Good dinner recommendation.

Stilt house apartment (studio), right on the water in the Gamboa are of Castro, Chiloé. Cozy, but with everything you need, as a couple or single traveller. watching the tide ebb and flow, the birds from the terrace. Great fridge, proper kitchen. Amazing location!!!

Wow. It is definitely the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept at a hotel room for the last couple of years. Patricio was very attentive, he gave great tips about Chiloe and what to do, where to go. The breakfast served to bed was also a nice gesture.

It’s a wonderful place. It had everything I was expecting and more! The people are so nice and the place was very beautiful and peaceful, can’t imagine coming to Chile without visiting Castro, Chiloe! Thank you so much for the great experience!

Nice stop off on our road trip around Chiloe. Big spacious hostel with big rooms and good facilities. We also parked the car securely. Staff super friendly.

Very modern apartment with private parking in central Castro. Helpful, friendly hosts with restaurant tips and things to do on Chiloe.

Super nice, family-led boutique hotel. Good heating (very important in Chiloé) and nice rooms.

Miguel is a great host and helps you plan your trip around Chiloé.

The attention to guests and to the ecology of the area is outstanding. Everything is done with planning and purpose. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Our meals were delicious and artfully presented. Joselyn and her crew are doing an excellent job.

Location:quiet,beautiful landscape and with a very nice view over the water.Yet only 20 km from Castro.Due the to location, availability of a car is highly recommended..Staff are very friendly and helpful.The restaurant serves really good food.Recommend the use of the hot tub which is located in a beautiful spot.
