This place is outstanding, the location is simply breathtaking. The apartment is small but very homey and equipped with plenty of amenities and complementary items such as breakfast stuff and coffee for the bialetti. We were able to cook some nice pasta dishes to enjoy on the beautiful balcony. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. San Bernardino as a location is very convenient if you are travelling by car as we were able to reach all of the cinque terre villages (start in the morning and park on the road somewhere, e.g above the Manarola car park, that way you don't have to pay for parking). Yes, the roads in cinque terre are narrow and winding but if you are somewhat used to driving mountain roads (as many Swiss people are), it's really not that bad, but best to have 4 eyes on the road. I was very scared of the driving part of this trip but it really wasn't that bad. We even had to park on the street below San Bernardino for most of the trip because there was an event on the church parking lot and that wasn't a problem either. At first I was sceptical if this apartment was gonna be worth it because it was slightly above our usual budget but it was the best decision, won't forget this place and the beautiful mornings sipping bialetti espresso while watching the sky and the sea change colours.

We loved our visit, and Lorenza was an angel. The room was large and beautiful, and the bathroom was large and new. Lorenza gave us a quick tour of town and of our room, and made sure we had a fresh breakfast everyday. When we left, Lorenza's husband carried one of our bags to the train and gave us all big umbrellas for the journey because it was raining. I washed one of our pairs of pants, and when Lorenza saw it soaking wet and drying while we were away, she dried it for us. The property is next to a local playground, which was a joy, because the children were laughing and playing, and we also go to witness locals parenting. The view was stunning. We hope to visit again.

We loved it so much here, we booked an extra night! It felt like our own little home. Monica was super nice. Though her English wasn't that great and my Italian wasn't that great, the communication was flawless. The view was great, the location super quiet at night and Monica gave us a park with which we could park for free in Levanto, even right next to the entrance of the train station. In the train station, you can take the train to any of the 5 Terre, so it was a great base to visit 5 Terre if you are travelling by car. The wifi was superfast!

Wonderful views , a very quiet and relaxing place to enjoy your vacation , everything was amazing.The host was very kind he waited us at the train station and he showed us lots of shortcuts to arrive at the propriety also the kitchen was fully equipped with food for breakfast and dinner .

Owner Monica was always in touch, helped with all questions. Apartment is super warm in December with heating. As well it’s well equipped. Amazing view!
