The owners are just unbelievable, they came to bus station at 5am and gave us a extremely early check in for free. They organized our tour and bus to Hue (pick up front there). They are just the best and kind people I've meet this trip. Can't thank them enough for their hospitality and such a big heart. I felt like home away from home. Location and the room was great too.

Staff were incredible. We arrived late to a great welcome by Ben and Long. They organized a great day on bikes with local guides to two caves down back roads and across rivers. Brilliant. Made up for time lost. Long organized onward travel. Food fab, Gary love the Shepards pie. Couldn’t say enough about this place. Just stay here!! We’d love to come back for longer.

Melia Vinpearl Quang Binh features a fitness centre, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Dong Hoi. This 5-star hotel offers an ATM and a concierge service. This was easily the best hotel my wife and I have stayed in during our month travelling in Vietnam. We were on the 16th floor and our room had a great view over the city. The room was huge and the bathroom was also large, it even had a separate bath. The staff were wonderful and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. For the price, this hotel is a spectacular bargain and comes highly recommended by us.

Rex Quang Binh Hotel has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Dong Hoi. Less than 5 min drive from the train station. Staff were helpful and gave good recommendations on places to eat. Rooms were clean and new. Booked the Phong Nga tour package with them which was organized by Phong Nga Discovery. Reasonable priced. As they have an in house Ktv, it could be a little noisy if you're very sensitive to noise. I slept well after the caves tour.

Very very good hotel. The owner helped us with everything we needed, she was available at all times. Free breakfast when it was probably one of the cheapest places I've stayed in in Vietnam. So overall an amazing experience with this hotel, we could even leave our bags in the room without paying for an extra night while we went on a cave tour overnight.

Situated in Phong Nha, Phong Nha Love Homestay offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The room has everything you need! It's spacious, clean, has a comfortable bed and pillows, and includes a nightlight and bedside outlets. The bathroom is also large and the shower has nice water pressure and hot water. We appreciated that breakfast was included and it was simple and tasty. The homestay is on a quiet street only a 10min walk to the middle of town, and there are also bikes you can borrow for free, which was very handy. The pool gets some nice afternoon sun and is clean. The best part of this homestay is the service. They picked us up at 4am from the bus station and let us check in early for a small fee. They also helped us craft our ideal itinerary for the 2 days we had there. They can help you find the perfect tour package if you want that, but they will also happily give you tips for exploring sites on your own. We booked the full-day paradise cave tour through them, which we really enjoyed. They also helped us arrange a motorbike and bus trip and let us pay for everything by credit card at the end. This family wants to do everything they can to make you comfortable, so you'll feel like you never want to leave. We couldn't recommend them more!
