The place is wonderful, the villa, its bedroom and bathroom were spacious and top notch from the point of comfort and luxury and the private pool was very lovely. The staff were friendly and sociable, our stay was made even more pleasant by their presence. The Mangrove walk and bar and sunset are beautiful.

Island World Panglao is situated in Panglao, within 800 metres of Alona Beach. Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, this property is set near attractions such as Danao Beach. Everything! They upgraded our room and offered us a free breakfast on our last day. All drivers booked by them arrived on time. Food was great and my friends loved their Spanish latte. It was already my second time staying at Island World.

It’s a newly opened resort. I was amazed with the interior design and the furniture they used. It’s much better than the 5 star hotels here in Panglao. Toilet and shower sets are all branded TOTO. Rooms are really spacious. Stuff at the resort is super nice, got welcome drink when I arrived. Food at the resort is delicious. Very happy about my stay. Everything - Sarah made herb tea in the morning and evenings for us, gave a garden tour of all her plants, provided free water, made excellent meals at good prices, was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable, and lives in a peaceful, country location - highly recommend.

This hotel was a bit more expensive than where we usually stay, but not having taken a real vacation since before COVID we thought we'd splurge a bit. Thankfully we weren't disappointed, the location, service, and facilities were all first rate and we didn't have anything to complain about for the entire stay. Things we look at reviews for are things like noise (it was very quiet, even when all the rooms were booked), the comfort of the beds (we both have hip issues that are aggravated by beds that are too hard or too soft, but these were perfect), and convenience to town (you can walk to town in half an hour or get a three wheeler for 100 php per-person, the ride just takes about 10 minutes, though you have to plan ahead as they need to call one for you before you can leave).

We had a short stay as we planned to take a ferry to Oslob. They assisted and made the process extremely smooth.

Set in Loon Cabilao Island in Bohol, this beachfront property is 2 km from Cabilao Lake, featuring an outdoor swimming pool, various island activities, and spa facility. Very exclusive and peaceful. The food is amazing and Mafette’s cocktails a delight. We were treated like family, the diving personnel were amazing. We were very sad to leave this place. A piece of our hearts remained in the Cabilao Sanctuary Beach & Dive Resort. We almost selfishly did not want to review this property so it can remain a hidden treasure…but fair is fair. Come and visit this paradise.
