This hotel is located on a family vineyard in the wine-growing town of Mehring. Views from the room were over the Moselle. Outside space with a gas barbecue, sun loungers and furniture, well equipped kitchen and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Very friendly hosts. Ebike hire at the hotel €49 per day. This traditional hotel has been run by the same family for over 200 years. It is located in the Rhineland Palatinate’s Moselle Valley. My sister and I found this gem during our travels in Germany this fall. Our cheery third floor room was easily accessible by elevator and was spotless. Breakfast was fresh, abundant, and delicious. Julia and Bastian were welcoming, gracious and accommodating to our wishes. It was fun to learn from personable Julia that we were the first guests from the USA since Covid. Dining in their restaurant was a lovely closing to the day with an enticing menu--loved the amazing seasonal soup and goat cheese salad. Our Terrace seating under the grapevines overlooking the lazy Mosel was perfect.
