The nearest airport is Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport, 18 km from Cabañas Avenida España. The apartment is modern, clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and available via WhatsApp if you have any questions. Although the staff didn’t speak English we communicated through WhatsApp and Google translate. Owner’s dogs are very friendly too on entry to the front yard. Bedding, towels, tea, coffee and toiletries were in the apartment. Punta Arenas is a great city, having European and American influences. There are plenty of places to shop, including duty free shops in the shopping malls. I was visiting family but I felt safe walking around on my own. The people are friendly in cafes, restaurants and shops with some staff speaking limited English.

The hotel features beauty treatments at the spa and offers guests the possibility to experience being a Baqueano, or Chilean cowboy during one of the several offered excursions. These excursions are included in the all-inclusive rates and are available for an extra fee with regular rates. Feb 2024 stay - 3 days total (split stay, 2 different rooms) $1000/day included Bkf, boxed lunch, Din. Wonderful stay. Description as promised. Not 5 star (regarding rooms) but tries to be, which is okay because you are there for a hiking/outdoor experience, not a glamourous pampering. Small mistakes here and there, but staff always worked to resolve in my favor. Purchased horseback riding (twice) - great time, but horses so well trained; if been on horse once before, then consider yourself an expert. Dinners were extremely good. All staff every accommodating. In 3 days, no problems unresolved. Only negative would be King beds are really 2 double beds pushed together. Stayed 1 night at Hotel Lago Gray (for convenience to Cat) and this place much better.

Guests at Natalino Hotel Patagonia can enjoy a buffet breakfast. It was a very comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. I eat a plant based diet and most hotels do not offer good plant based breakfasts. I really enjoyed the oatmeal bar they had.
