What a great find this accomodation has been! After being initially slightly dissapointed we could not get a funaya accommodation, after our actual stay, all I can say is how lucky we were to have experienced the stay here instead. The room was so spaceous, and bright, with all the facilities we would have wanted. The kotatsu has been lovely! All the decoration and overall setting feels so cosy and warm. Exceptional breakfast, with many delicious choices. Lots of flavor and fresh, local ingredients. Loved the pickles and the atsuki dessert! Everything was spot on! Much more than we could have hoped. Wish we could have stayed more to enjoy the room facilities even better.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Everything was perfect about this hotel. Our room was large but very cute with a nice garden and in a great location. And staff was very helpful. We also got some cool amenities.

Nazuna Kyoto Tsubaki St. ligger i Kyoto, 2 km fra Nijo Slot, og har restaurant, have og udsigt over haven. The breakfast was great and authentic. Definitely just enough and not too much food.

Gion Oyado Kikutani ligger mindre end 1 km fra Gion Shijo Station og tilbyder 3-stjernet indkvartering i Kyoto samt have. Rooms are very comfortable, in the bath you have a bathtub that is really joyful. Staff was very nice as well. I enjoyed the hotels japenese style breakfast first day but on the second day me and my gf are kinda bored of eating fish on the breakfast so they gave us a coupon that covered our breakfast at the coffe 100 m away from the hotel. I can recommend. Location is also 8-10 minutes away from GION district.

In the Sakyo Ward district of Kyoto, close to Heian Shrine, 明和荘Mei Wa Inn features a garden and a washing machine. The hosts went out of their way way to ensure I had a great time during my stay in Kyoto. They were exceptionally kind.
