Beautiful property in mountains. South of downtown and really close. Restaurant is absolutely delicious and the hot tubs were great. Will definitely return.

The carpets in the halls were a little dirty and dated.

We loved the location and view. The view from the hot tubs can’t be beat! The shuttle was quick and reliable and took us to any location we needed. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The bed was very uncomfortable and so we didn't get much sleep.

Food was excellent though we were told it was 2 for 1 and I'm not sure that was reflected on our bill at the restaurant. I forgot to take my copy of the check with me so I can't be sure. The location was breath taking and we loved the views.

Our fireplace was not functioning during our stay. We assumed this was d/t being off-season. Nonetheless, this trip was still nearly perfect at the lodge!

The lodge offered a gorgeous atmosphere and great proximity to the town below. Breakfast was delicious and provided sufficient variety. Our room was very spacious, bed was very comfortable, and even the added furniture was very comfortable.

My own foresight should have been better. Altitude of 9500 feet and stairs everywhere is a challenge for octogenarians. Should have asked for help with luggage....

The restaurant/bar lacked any ambiance. The lighting was way too bright and the food was not great.

The view was awesome. The room was very attractive and comfortable. Probably the best amenity was the on-demand shuttle for going to and from town. The staff was more than helpful - they gave the extra bit of service.

The person on shift at the check-in counter upon our arrival (middle-aged gentleman, with long hair,he didn’t bother to introduce himself, so we don’t have his name), wasn’t very friendly and left out some critical information, like reserving a table for dinner beforehand, telling us there would be a wedding at the venue and not informing us that there wont be housekeeping for our 2 night stay. This might be common knowledge to regular guests, however, he made is blatantly obvious that it was our first time there, after asking us that repeatedly and performing a smaller version of the Spanish Inquisition in the same manner and likeness. Other than this individual, all other staff were very polite and respectful.

Confusing layout of the lodge

High above Breckinridge, it’s a quiet place with a lot of character. The room was very spacious and had a fireplace which we enjoyed every evening. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of variety of food. We also enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The two outdoor hot tubs are excellent for a relaxing soak after a long day of hiking and Golf.

The bathrooms and carpeting in common areas could be updated. Our room was air-conditioned, but those we have stayed in that are not air-conditioned can be rather stuffy overnight during the summer.

The view is spectacular! The included breakfast is quite adequate and allows you to spend more for lunch and dinner. We like the rustic lodge feel. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

No shuttle service.

The only negative we have is that the shuttle was not working and the lodge did not provide alternate transportation to the town. This was an inconvenience.

Breakfast was what you would expect from a low-end national chain. Everything was cheap, serve-yourself fare: make your own waffle, microwavable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, cereal. For the price and location I was expecting much better.

We honeymooned there 25 years ago and were thrilled it was still in business. Rooms were comfortable, staff were helpful, and the views unparalleled.

Hot tub full of bugs. Breakfast buffet didn't have milk and no one was around to get it. For $300 plus a night should have breakfast staffed.

Very basic and stale. If you are giving breakfast as an incentive please make it good with an appealing setting.
