Biggest inconvenience for us was the lack of a traditional coffee urn in the lobby. One has always been there each time we visit, now replaced by a fancy computerized machine that was broken for the most part. It was a disaster for the staff, and even when working, took forever to make a cup, and mostly just spit and chortled. It was the weekend of the Chicago marathon and with a full hotel, the sign said “Coffee machine broken -sorry.” Why replace something that always worked with something that only frustrates everyone???? Room ac was extra loud too, but we just shut it off. Otherwise everything was fine. Staff is always friendly, but seemed sort staffed this visit. Hope it’s not a sign of things to come.

No where does it say the hotel requires a additional $150 deposit on top of the room payment and another $50 a day to park

The roof top view at night was amazing , and the pizza place attached to hotel Was great too . The room was also massive, loved it . The man on the desk was also very nice and helpful .

The only complaint was no fridge or microwave. That’s it!

First of all staff especially Jordan was fantastic! He helped out with our parking QR code, we was having issues with but personally took care of it! And was super friendly! The location was perfect and was clean!

The hallway to the rooms stunk. We had to walk super fast from the elevator to the room.

It was odd going through 2 elevators and down the hall to get to the pool/sky deck.

There was a weird smell in the hallway both days.

The concierge: Jordan made our stay exceptional, he helped us with everything and told us about things going on in town. Very helpful and nice.

How loud the traffic is, which is not their fault. I just put the AC unit on constant fan, and boom, instant white noise.

Location is great. Despite what other reviews have said, our floor and room had new carpet and tile in the bathroom. Yes it is an older hotel, but it has been updated and kept up.

The layout was weird. We had to take an elevator to the floor under ours, go down a bunch of Halls to get to another elevator to get to our room. Similar situation for getting to the rooftop pool and view

The location was superb for walking thru the city and to navy pier etc. pizzeria uno (home of the original deep dish) was a short walk away!

Advertises as having free Wi-Fi but this was only available in the main wing of the hotel.

Well we weren’t able to get a swim in. The hours of the pool and roof top area should be changed. Because the family with the children stayed the whole time.Consider no children after 9.  Adults only nine till 12 that’s the point of coming. There is the relax at the pool and on the roof and that didn’t happen for me and my husband.

The only negative thing I can say & it was actually a big deal for our stay. The bathtub/shower had major issues. There was water under the tub liner. This made taking a shower like walking on a water bed. You had to constantly try to keep your balance. When the water wasn't running, you could push on it with your hands and hear the water trapped between the tub liner and the assumed old tub underneath. I reported it the first morning & was told they would look at it. I assumed we would be offered another room once they saw how bad and dangerous it was. But we were not. When we checked out, I told them it was a lawsuit waiting to happen. It was dangerous and someone was going to fall because of it. Again I was told it would be checked out. Hopefully it was. Other than this, everything else was great.

We were happy with the Hotel. It was close to the places we were going to. We enjoyed the pool, roof top terrace and having the restaurant right next to us was very nice.

Very smelly stairwell (we were on 2nd so didn't use elevator). Fair bit of wear and tear in room and hotel overall.

Very good location. Close to plenty of restaurants. Room was a decent size. Pool and rooftop patio were great.

I didn't love the parking cost, and let's be real, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The rollaway bed my son slept on was more comfortable.

We LOVED the outdoor space and pool. It was a great space for us to take our kiddos after a full day in the city. The staff were incredibly kind.

AC. The AC unit is an old style. you feel like a power generator is in your room. Thatt was a nightmare
