Noise

Location, comforting friendly staff. Only bad thing was people slamming there door all night. It was quiet up until 10pm. We stayed there as my sister had surgery at Upstate Medical.

Room temperature were uncomfortably warm. AC low settings were 66 degree. Limited evening food.

Pool was refreshing temperature. Could use larger pool towels.

This hotel's location will be excellent in 10 years if Syracuse gets its act together and develops the inner harbor area, but right now it is a little isolated in that there isn't much to walk to nearby. There are a couple restaurants and a cafe nearby, but if you want food in the morning, they have a small kitchen that serves up some food.

Very nice, clean and well-maintained hotel with a nice pool. The room was a decent size and very comfortable for two people. Good if you need a hotel centrally located - by car - in Syracuse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. They have a bar, which was nice after a long day.

Paying for breakfast. The room was expensive, so having anyone who pays over 400.00 a night pay for breakfast is not good. Disabled parking is too far for a Disabled person.

The staff are wonderful. Any questions or needs were promptly dealt with. We rented a corner suite. I love the setup. We were able to see the water and pavilions. There was an event taking place, so there was a whole fireworks display happening.

Bartnder could be a little slow at times. Saying that there is a restaurant is deceiving, it is only small bar snacks.

There are dogs all over the hotel. They should be kept on the first 2 floors, not the 5th. I chose to board mine, so I don't want to listen to any others barking. We were told at check-in that dogs were kept on the first 2 floors. We were surrounded by dogs. Who checks their vaccination records, and do they know what shots they are supposed to have to keep other dogs safe? Kennel cough (boardatella) is highly contagious. Rabies? What if another guest had an allergy to dogs and ended up staying in a room where a dog just stayed? Have designated rooms for them, just like the hotels in Saratoga! The showers are probably the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. We travel all over New York in the month of July. Hands down, they are the worst. Water pressure was weak and the sprayer was too high on the wall. ??? They need a good cleaning, especially around the dirty bottom edges. We had some kind of tiny bugs in the shower the first night that jumped when I sprayed them which made me think of fleas! The beds were very comfortable, however the sheet aren't the best and they don't stay on the beds. Invest in some that have good elastic, not hospital sheets. Lastly, there aren't any drawers! If you want to unpack, especially if you are staying for a couple of days, there is nowhere to put your clothes!

We didn't eat breakfast, we weren't sure how it worked, and no one explained it to us. My son loved the pool table, the open lobby, and the comfy feel. The beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast was ok just a little awkward, no lunch except overpriced snacks. Our bathroom fixtures did t work very well. It was repaired but took time. Blinds broken.

The parking is not far, but it is across the road.

The place is stylish and in great shape. The rooms are quite large and in great shape. The common areas is well set up with a pool table that is free to use (we took advantage) with a bar.

There really wasn’t much within close walking distance. It served my purposes well as I was visiting friends in town, but if you’re looking to walk around Syracuse I’d recommend a property closer to downtown. Parking was plentiful and free but odd. You park across the street in an unattended lot.

The property was very clean and well done, and the room was also extremely nice. All of the staff I interacted with was super friendly.
