“Our stay was in fact at the sister-property, Fattoria Montignana near Mercatale, as we were called the night before our visit to be told there was no hot water at Querceto. Our rooms - two bedrooms and two bathrooms both spotlessly clean, and a kitchen, also immaculate - were on the ground floor with a terrace, shared with the rooms next door, looking out over the vineyards. Very quiet but only a few minutes drive from the local town. The manager, Violetta, is charming and very helpful.”
