The double bedroom was very spacious and clean. The kitchen facilities are fantastic with a washing machine, dryer, microwave, etc. The bathroom is seperated from the WC so you'll not have to wait if someone is using the shower/bath.

clean, quiet, very affordable, superb location (walking distance to Victoria Park, Regents Canal, Bethnal Green Tube). Kitchen was well equipped.

There should be paper towels in the kitchen. Need to fix the shower. And trash bin in the washroom should be big.

Would be nice if there’s shampoos and conditioners per room rather than in the shared bathroom.

Very good value for money and the staff were sweet. They took care of everything I needed. There’s a washer and a dryer too that work very well.

The building seems scary, but don’t worry when you get inside the house looks like it just got refurbished recently and you can have a good sleep here. The only problems that the heater in the single bedroom is slightly too hot (you can open the window to cool down the room lol) and cold water is lacking. when I took a shower there was cool water for the first 15 minutes, then you should be careful. but overall, I enjoyed my stay here :) Thanks Murat

Good location, not too close to Central but easy to travel there > better price. Nothing fancy, not so good furniture, clean but not spotless. but overall the house is quite cozy and I can see the owner making great effort to make me feel like home - he kept bringing new kitchenware and stuffs to the house and asked me if everything is ok. and you can always reach him for further support

The house was rather unclean. The bedsheets & towels did not feel fresh, toilet often out of use, bathroom thermostat with fault of some kind. I suppose the house is not smoke-free & has no noise restrictions after hours hence next-door flat had a party with smoking there until 4am in a way risk of fire & caused difficulty to sleep.

The room was large and came with good size table for work. The kitchen had large fridge, microwave and stocked up but found no chopping board, kitchen paper, food steamer and did not use their oven or coffee machine.

My expectations were quite low given the price, but I chose here because it was an unexpected stay and I didn't have budget for anything better. However, the stay was hampered by the heating situation. It was 20 degrees in London and the heating in the property was not only on, but high. No controls were available to bring down the heating of the property (aside the thermostat in the bedroom I was staying in) which should not have been on. The representative was unable to change that situation either. He pointed me to a fan, which broke on the second night of my stay. The shower is also a problem: if you swing the tap to the left, it's scalding hot. If you swing it to the right, it's slightly too hot to shower and doesn't quite give you enough flow of water. The representative was apologetic, but ineffective in making the stay any more comfortable. I left one night early because of broken sleep on a poor mattress with unnecessarily hot conditions. With the heating sorted, I'd give this property a 4 or 5 out of 10. It's a bit more run down than the photos suggest.

Very negligible things. It's probably not the most handy place if you dislike 2 rows of stairs with little in terms of wheelchair access from what I could tell (but as I did not need it, I did not ask)

The owner was incredibly lovely and helpful. My room felt secure, and as a sole female traveller, I really did feel safe in my own locked room. The room was very spacious, and the internet was beyond brilliant and free (which is important for me). There was a smart TV provided in my room, and while the bathroom and kitchen were shared, I did not feel like I was intruding in any way, nor did I have to wait really to use facilities but that could of been a matter of luck. In terms of location, I mainly used the underground to get around, and it was only 7 minutes away from Bethnal Green Station. There was also a vegan Caribbean restaurant right next door that I fully suggest everyone visits at least once on their visits (omnivore or otherwise).

This place is misrepresented. It is not a proper hotel or guesthouse, it is an ex-council flat being let out essentially as an Air BnB, through that site and through booking.com. The listing does not say managed by a private host, which it should. When I got to the council block (about 9.15pm), it was not clear where the entrance was. I had not been given any instructions. No-one was there, though I had given my arrival time. I called the number given, which was non-UK, costing me quite a lot of credit. The guy at the other end said he'd be round in a minute. About 15 minutes later, a friend of the owner arrived on an Uber Eats bike to let me in and show me where things were. I can imagine some travelers would feel very uncomfortable waiting around in the dark in an unfamiliar area not knowing if or when anyone would arrive. I think some of the reviews here are fake. They talk about how great the staff are. There are no staff. Just a guy who shows up on a bike after 15 minutes to let you in, then leaves.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it was a very convenient location.

Confortable and clean! Don't look for luxury here, the room was right, the kitchen was amazing and laundry was available, the neiborghood was pretty (oh that nice park! close to the station, I already miss it), really close to the tube station (zone 2), I totally recomend it

Perfect location with the most incredible Vegan Caribbean restaurant just at the doorstep (Vital Foods)! I felt safe as a lone female traveler when checking in and staying at the property. The co host was incredibly kind and respectful. The home is beautiful and probably the cleanest shared space I’ve stayed in as it was constantly maintained. Easily accessible to Soho & central I got there in under 30 mins on the tube and Bethnal Green Station is 5 mins walk away! Highly recommend & will be rebooking in future!
