Really enjoyed my stay, the staff were great, modern rooms (with good coffee!) and the overall atmosphere and decor of the hotel was nice. Breakfast had a good selection of options incl. vegan. The location is also very handy, a short walk to the train stations, shops and restaurants. Will definitely be returning!

The light by my bed did not work so to turn all the lights off before bed I had to walk to the door, then walk back to bed in the dark.

It was clean and well-appointed, within walking distance of Glasgow Central and the Necropolis.

Very confusing address, given as 15 Candleriggs when it's actually in the next road along - took me a while to find. Soundproofing didn't seem too good, as there was a fair amount of noise from the next room.

Very nice new room/hotel, clean and comfortable, with good wifi. Central location in the Merchant City, close to pubs and restaurants, and good value for money for such.

Breakfast was very busy when it opened at 7 am. Shared tables is not everyone's preference and the speed of the coffee machines led to quite long waits.

Great concept for hotel and longer term stays. Facilities and designs are very good. Room nice and quiet with good shower - and easy to use WiFi. Friendly staff.

Walls very thin, could hear my neighbours conversations, room very tiny so not sure what it’ll be like longstay. Not the best air circulation, room quite dark

This hotel is brand new so everything was clean and spotless. The staff was super friendly. The bed was wonderful and the room felt bigger than I expected. The mac and cheese from the restaurant was very yummy. We didn't have time to try out the other facilities, but maybe next time!

The ceiling in my bedroom seems unfinished? Still concrete with some holes? Otherwise everything else inside bedroom deserve an excellent rating.

Room was nice. The upgrade for very little money was well spent. Comfortable bed. Quiet location (Tuesday night in Glasgow). Very close to the venue for end of FE education year, so major plus.

If we had to say one thing: for the birthday we were offered some bubbles but opted for a beer in the room instead. Those beers however were never delivered. It was a tiny blemish on a great stay but really not worth mentioning.

We very appreciated the service mindedness of the staff. We see a trend that service is confused with friendliness but a smile just wont help poor service. In the case of the social hub however, service was combined with a smile and that is of course best. Little details like going out of their way during breakfast to provide and communicate well, help out with digi noobs like us during check-in and leaving a complimentary nice birthday card with some jelly beans in the room. Also, the pooltable and ping pong in the hall were great! Oh, plus great beds!

The fire alarm that went off around midnight for 20+ minutes due to someone smoking in their room, even tho all rooms are nonsmoking.

It was a bit ‘intense’ with lots of effort put into styling above function necessarily. I didn’t want to have to iron downstairs and keep mixing in shared public spaces when I just wanted to get ready in my room and get out the door to work meetings. I probably wasn’t the best fit for a place called ‘the social hub’!

The colour scheme of the furniture, tiling was dark. Dark colours could have been avoided. The room looks brighter with light colours.

The location in the city centre meant easy access to public transport. However the address 15 Candleriggs was misleading, one finds the entrance on the Brunswick Street. Food, room were all very nice and the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Everything spoke of good quality.
