We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomI think the hotel would benefit from a slightly cheaper breakfast and greater availability of bar snacks and cream teas throughout the day and evening rather than just at set times- the hotel is missing an opportunity here! The indoor pool requires an upgrade and the ‘sauna’ is more like a draughty garden shed!!
The building is beautiful, the outdoor heated pool was fantastic for the children. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and there’s a beautiful view out over the sea. The staff were friendly and our room was well kept with replacement biscuits, water and hot drinks provided each day.

United KingdomWe were warned on the second day that there were men working on the flat roof outside our bedroom window and asked if we wanted to move rooms. We didn’t because we’d already settled but it was off putting having to keep the curtains closed when we went back to our room. Hopefully next time we visit we can be compensated with an upgrade to a sea view 😊
We loved the location and facilities at the hotel as well as the proximity to the beach.

Beautiful location right on the beach. Excellent facilities with tennis, swimming pool, spa and gym. Stayed in the Osborne room that was spacious and had a sea view.

United KingdomAlthough the dinner menu was full of enticing options, the food wasn't the highlight of my stay. The wine was very good though and there were many excellent options inside and outside to enjoy a tipple and take in the views.
A beautiful setting and friendly staff welcomed me to this hotel. The location, overlooking the sea was spectacular. Inside, the hotel was perfectly comfortable. Both the indoor and outdoor heated pool looked very welcoming but, unfortunately,I wasn't able to partake on this occasion.

United KingdomThe first room we were given had no working power sockets. No phone charging, tv, kettle etc. We ended up having to re pack and move rooms at 11pm. The next morning, in the upgraded room, the shower did not work. It was eventually 'fixed' but using it was the most complicated process that had to be demonstrated to us. Never has using a shower been so ridiculously difficult.
Restaurant food was excellent. Staff were well trained.

United KingdomFurniture tired and bashed in bedroom. We weren’t told of the extent of the scaffolding until the day we were arriving, then told we’d basically have to put up with it as no other rooms were available and as we’d booked through booking.com we would not get a refund. In the end another room was found. Spa area very tired and you can’t really call it a spa!
Room was a lovely size, lovely views, friendly staff. Food very good.

The sea view was Fabulous. The room was very spacious and well arranged. The bed was very comfy. The proximity to the lovely Meadfoot Beach. The outdoor bar and restaurant is a very relaxing place to eat and drink amongst friends.

United KingdomNo disabled access to the hotel. We had to carry my son’s pram the stairs every time we enter/exit the hotel. It was too hot in our room during the day even with the heating switch off. Breakfast was average.
We were staying in one of the junior suites and our room was spacious and clean. We had a lovely view of the sea. Didn’t use a lot of the hotel’s facilities as we were there only for two nights. The staff were polite, especially at the reception.
