We loved the location near the old and characterful part of the town. The modern decor was elegant and the room was very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Noise from the street. And somebody was walking around on the top floor (or on the roof) during the whole night and I couldn't sleep

The room is small but clean, sweet and meet all I need. Everything there is good to me, and location is close to Couvent des Jacobins, also not too far from train station. Walking distance.

Not filthy, but not super clean either. Dusty baseboards. Crumbs on the desk. Hairs on the floor in the 🛁 room. Hotel is above a bar. Didn't keep me awake, but I could hear it. The place actually shakes when the underground metro goes by.

Location. Very close to the old center. About 15 minutes to the train station by foot. Big room, lots of natural light. Big comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff

Breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was, carpets everywhere (I'm allergic), some rooms were a bit difficult to access (long corridor, stairs).

The pillow's cover was not super clean - we saw some pen's marks on the cover.

The receptionist was very nice and welcoming! The room was pretty nice, fully-equipped, the bathroom is very clean. The whole room is not too big but for me spacious enough for a couple. The location was pretty convenient : right in the central area (we could walk from the train station straight to the hotel) and super close to the restaurants, coffee shop, etc.

I was surprised that room was not cleaned after my first night but it could be because of the 1st January. I hope.

- No parking, and expensive area to park around - Messy staircase, with bedsheets piled up and cleaning product trays in the middle of the way; feels a bit like the service staircase, which is not very nice in the absence of elevator, in maintenance, and what one would expect from a Mercure hotel - Small bedroom, but ok for short stays - Full breakfast overpriced (18.9 euros)

The elevator did not work and because we are elderly, assistance should have been offered at the start of our stay. The desk person (male) when we checked in was rather cold in attitude, whereas the desk person (female) when we checked out was nicer and seemed to be more aware of non functioning elevator impact for the elderly and at least offered help with our bags, but only AFTER we had already struggled to get them down. Both were too young to understand creaking bones and sore backs of older people. Empathy training is in order. Someday in their futures.....

Tiny room - I know this is the trend, but it was hard to open up two carry-on suitcases at the same time.

Centrally located, new and clean. Comfortable beds. Very friendly staff and a choice of three breakfast options (basic, express and full buffet).

The room was very small, the shower and basin were inside the bedroom which was a bit strange and the toilet was tiny. No conditioner and I didn’t have any shampoo so had to ask for it. Noisy outside as there was an outside dining area right opposite my room.

Breakfast was very good, however if you came at 9.30 the buffet would not be replenished. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Location was perfect, very close to the town. Bed was very comfortable.
