We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

FranceThe room temp control was not working. For sofa bed the mattress was dirty and had no bed sheet and pillow cover .. the pillows were out of their age and very uncomfortable. The breakfast needs to be better. Last there is no private and secure Parking there.. not suitable for expensive cars to Park.
The location is fine.. Decor is ok, staff were ok , but I think owners don't pay any attention to their business.

GermanyThey charge me extra 50 euros for a extra bed that never arrived to the room. Also never brought extra towels or extra blanket, pillow. The wall of the toilet hat holes in it.. ( wasn't really finished) .. the automatic blinder for the door leading to the join terraza wasn't fully working ..so it wouldn't close completely. So any other guest walking in the terraza could see inside the room and directly to the bed..( because this was directly in front of this door.) The temperature control of the room wasn't working. So the room kept getting hotter and hotter.. around 2 am we had to open a window for some cold air because it was unbearable..went to the reception to complain and waited over 20 min . . Nobody was there. One of the worst nights I had to experience in a hotel. And even paying extra. ! If possible I would like to get a refund or partial refund .or at least the 50 extra paid for an extra bed that never arrived.

United KingdomMy experience at The Rooms Hotel was disappointing on multiple fronts. Upon arrival, a fellow guest was dissatisfied with bed size, revealing a lack of flexibility in room accommodations. Despite paying for three rooms, the hotel declined a request for an upgrade or refund when a member of our party couldn't attend. The broken shower compounded the issues; reporting it early yielded no action until a late-night visit from a pajama-clad staff member who deferred repairs to the next day, despite my one-night stay. The non-functional air conditioning forced me to endure an uncomfortably warm room, and keeping the window open posed a safety concern with the shared balcony. Additionally, the dispirited demeanor of the reception team underscored a need for improved customer service. Overall, my stay at The Rooms Hotel was marred by unaddressed issues, inflexibility, and a lack of prompt and efficient service.

South AfricaThere was nothing to wipe the kitchen counter with, no soap to was dishes either. We ordered cappuccino, and it was a quarter cup. There was no tea, coffee, or sugar in the room. There was 1 bottle of still water but a sign that says it's €3 next to it. So we ended up getting from somewhere else.
Space and Netflix was available on TV.

United Kingdom“Equipped kitchen” is a stretch! A couple of knives and forks and a couple of plates. Wouldn’t call that equipped! There was a large crack in the sink which had been badly repaired and there were holes in the walls in the bathroom. The sound proofing does not extend to the front door of the room as you could hear everyone who walked past. The location appears to be in the middle of an industrial estate and parking consisted of being lucky to get a space on the road outside.
The breakfast area was nicely decorated and there was a good selection of cold breakfast items.

United KingdomChecked in to the room on the 17th of Oct23 and found the room very freezing cold. Set the temperature to 20 degrees and went out for dinner. Came back to find the room still very cold. Spoke to the front desk Manager and was told that the weather had unexpectedly become cold that evening and that the heating unfortunately could not be turned on. I was told it would be fixed next morning. The manager offered me an extra blanket which he said was in the cupboard in the room. Having a history with carpel tunnel syndrome and associated joint pains I spent the night with thermals under my pyjamas, winter socks and winter hat. The next day afternoon after I returned from the official meetings, I found the room to be still cold and so I checked out. While I was at the reception, I requested the front office Manager to give it to me in writing that the heating did not work so that we can use it to get our refund for the 2 nights I would not be staying at the hotel. The front desk Manager me that he could not do anything and suggested we write to the hotel management and also contact Booking.com. We emailed immediately while I stood at the front desk. I checked out. We received a response from the management on the 19 Oct23 that the heating always works at the hotel and there must have been a mis understanding. Went back to the hotel on the 20 Oct23 - met front office Manager again and told him about the response we had received from the management. He said he could not help in the matter and appeared helpless. I asked him specifically if the hotel heating was not working that night of the 17 Oct23 and whether he had advised me about it when I had enquired about the heating - his response, was that he told that to all customers at the hotel that night. We again wrote to the hotel detailing every aspect of the experience. Received an email denying everything as if it never happened. Stay away!
Breakfast was limited. Location was not ideal.

TurkeyThe hotel was clean. We checked out early because upon arrival we realized that both the hotel services and our room were falsely advertised. When we spoke to the front desk about this, they immediately understood and recognized our complaints as being 100% true. However, they said there was nothing they could do about and told us to contact the Manager. So, we did… listing all the things that were specifically stated to be a part of the hotel property and qualities of the room we booked yet NOT TRUE. We messaged the manager in English (as instructed and because we are Americans) but received a response in German!? Because we had a German friend with us at the moment, we were able to translate the message and understand that the response was rude and ignored all of the things we truthfully pointed out that we’re a problem. The main issues included this: suite with 2 queen beds, living room, kitchen, and private terrace furnished with comfortable outdoor furniture (couch, table, chairs, etc) and a beautiful garden view. In reality, the terrace was shared, open and connected to all of the rooms in that section. Also the ‘view’ was of the street and overlooking a a lot with abandoned buildings, boarded up windows, and broken cars, car parts, trailers, etc., neighborhood did not feel safe. It was 1 queen bed and 1 pull out (disgusting) couch bed. Also there was NO safe in the room to feel comfortable with leaving our passports, computers, etc. while we were out. In terms of amenities that were shown… it was stated that there was a restaurant and bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but really it was only open for a crappy breakfast and that they had 24-hour room service, mini bar, etc.. All of this was not true.
