The hotel was magnificent but the idea of reserving an amount of 250€ a night on your card while staying in the hotel is outrageous that means if I stayed for 10 nights they will hold 2500€ for my entire stay I understand the remaining amount returns to the guest but it doesn’t justify the amount held by the hotel I hope they have more understanding policies if not for myself but in the coming summer when big families start booking a lot of rooms in the hotel there will be big trouble dealing with the amount of money required to be held per night

- best location in Munich - staff are professional - the room was amazing - tv was very good - sitting area in the room was great - dine in was delicious - lobby was nice - valet service is helpful - Marco from room guest service was amazing and very try helpful - the bathroom in the room was amazing Rosewood hotel in Munich is the highlight of my trip seriously they made us a favor when they opened it up for tourists who love luxury in Munich the city needed a hotel as grand as this one

The hotel is wonderfully located, right in the center, within walking distance of the sights, as well as close to Maximilianstraße - the perfect place for shopping. The hotel is brand new, I think we were the first guests in our room. The interior is very stylish and cozy, with a very pleasant pool and sauna area. Excellent a la carte breakfast. We are thrilled and will definitely return.

On our first day, we had to wait for a table for 30 minutes for breakfast and after we had a seat and ordered the breakfast, it took at least 1 hour for the dishes and drinks to arrive at our table. The emptied dishes were not also collected timely. The empty tables around were not cleaned up in due time, we had to sit with dirty tables and dishes around us. The service was a mess in our second day as well, though it was surely faster. The staff was incompetent and inexperienced. The standard cleaning service was not provided on the only day we needed, apparently they've missed it or something went wrong/malfunctioned in their low quality electronic systems. There was a lack of proper heating (and/or isolation) in the room (and highest temp allowed on AC was 23 degrees, which is ridiculous), which was not fixed though we had shared this inconvenience with the reception and asked them to fix it. There were several other annoying structural inconveniences in the room as well (there was a falsely measured and very narrow space between the tap and the sink which does not allow you to clean your both hands without touching the base, the light bulb is positioned right into the eye, even if you choose the dim light etc.). Before our arrival we had also specifically asked for a room in the upper floors, but it was not recognized at all. The hotel could be busy, but the least they could do was to recognize our request and explain the unavailability instead of taking us to a room on the ground floor just like that. The price definitely does not worth the value.

Location is good. Facilities are clean in general.
