Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hotel corridor was very very dark. The auto switch lights came up very slow when passing by. Look a little creepy hahahah.
Hotel is very well designed. Room was big and comfortable. Location is superb. The parking lot, even though is a public one but it’s right under the hotel, very very convenient. Staff were all very nice. The French coffee shop next to the lobby is very good. Many outsider came to but pastries. We have complimentary hot drink coupons from the hotel, so we could have a very good breakfast there

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and replied to every WhatsApp within seconds (also love this way more than having to call the front desk. The rooms were really clean and modern. You could even use your phone to connect to the tv (Netflix, Spotify etc). The gym was super big and great. Drinks at the bar were outstanding. Location, parking, coffee shop downstairs… everything 10/10. And dog friendly which made it top notch.

Almost nothing. 33,50 Euros for the breakfast, well…
Supercentral & modern, in contrast to the medieval and more conservative surrounding. Very friendly and helpful staff.

On Sunday the bar was closed all day.
Location of hotel. Staff very helpful. Room lovely junior suite with balcony overlooking the river.

The rooms are small and and bare of furnishings. The bed mattresses are on the floor or on a slight riser with very little room. Getting out of bed is difficult.. Not enough electrical outlets. The USB charging sockets did not work.
The location is excellent with very convenient parking. The public areas and first impression is outstanding. Everything is fresh and spotless clean. The spa and sauna are spacious and clean. Bathroom was new, fresh and clean.

The pool is on the cold side. The people i. The spa were talking and there was even a kid screaming in the pool.
I liked the design of the hotel and rhe rooms. Very comfortable beds.

One evening my husband had an interaction with 2 staff at front counter that was not professional but all other employees we interacted with during our stay were exceptional.
Location is by far best selling point of this property. There is also a nice cafe in the hotel lobby and some very good eateries w/i a block. The open market is 1 block away and is fantastic for quick food and souvenirs. Fun to just walk through too. Hotel is comfortable and clean but not spectacular.

I don't like idea of surcharges on breakfast - either you have paid for one already or not. In this case, we had breakfast in the rate, yet upon arrival on breakfast we found that hot food is with extra charge. I understand when you charge separately for champagne, but just for regular breakfast dishes?
Great location, room design (cozy and modern), integration with the restaurant (albeit there is crazy much different places around). All looks of high quality. We arrived at 1pm and they already had a room for us - lovely!

Hard to say, the only thing I still do not like is the mixed naked sauna as first and only choice
