To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. Whilst doing a whistle stop tour of California, this Inn/hotel was a brilliant find. The general feel you get as soon as you are greeted by the very friendly reception staff is of a relaxed and clean hotel. The pool area is wonderful. There are so many free additions like popcorn, hot chocolate, games, books, fire pit that make your stay feel special. The Toulouse restaurant next door serves tremendous food swell. It's only a short 8-10 min walk to the cable car. We were there for one night but have now rebooked two extra to recharge the batteries. The rooms are very well presented and modern with a homely charm. We stayed in the cozy king room, which isn't huge but more than adequate. Value for money for this stay was another wonderful reason to stay here.

The hotel location is fantastic; the view of the lake and mountains and snow is so amazing. I loved my room view, and it's the peace of heaven. So please don't waste your time and book non lake view! Also, the food at their restaurant is delicious. I have already recommended the hotel to all the people I know!
