One of the best meals we’ve had on the Sao Miguel and staff that goes beyond on service without being obstructive. Had the Terrace Double room and very happy about it

The room was very spacious, views to the garden amazing, bed very comfortable, minibar stocked. The restaurant was beautiful, food very delicious, wine menu extensive (and we got proper recommendations according to our food). The bar area was comfortable, first night we arrived there was a live jazz session. In the evenings we enjoyed the pool table in the bar area. The garden and Parque Terra Nostra were heavenly. Thermal pools just 2 minutes walk and the outdoor thermal jakuzi was the highlight!

It’s a new place, it’s clean, beautiful, well maintained. All the staff without exception were so friendly and nice to us. Breakfast was great as well. It’s about 20 minutes walk from a main area of restaurants and bars (walkable at night), great view over mount brazil and the ocean. We loved seeing the sunset from the pool while reading a book. The place also has a big private parking lot for free. We didn’t wanted to leave
