Sonesta Hotel Arequipa features a fitness centre and bar. This 5-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. It is definitely a hotel that stands out in Arequipa. We booked it ad hoc as the other place we had didn’t meet our expectations and it was an amazing stay. From the moment you enter the lobby, you are taken care of properly. The room was spotless, very spacious, quiet and with a nice view, beds were super comfortable, large bathroom, big wardrobe. There is a restaurant and the food was amazing. A bit pricey but worth it. The staff, both in the lobby and in the restaurant, was very professional, helpful and polite. We had an early flight and asked for a transfer which was arranged with no problem. We also had our laundry done, it was a bit more expensive than we expected but, again, worth it. We planned to stay 1 night but extended our booking after all.

After been to Lima, Cusco, and Puno. The city I love the most is Arequipa. Less polluted, dogs poops, weather-wise, and cheaper food. Me and my family really want to stay for more days unfortunately we enable to change the flights :'(
