If you want peace and quiet and a lovely view of the Altafjord - then this small family hotel is perfect for you! I was alone....though my room did not face the lake but it was still very nice. It had two open areas with comfy sofas and two massage chairs which I used a lot. The breakfast was amazing. The views were incredible. The fact that you can always have tea , coffee and a biscuits on no charge was really nice. It was only 20 mins walk from centrum which had amazing views. The gold explorer for the northern light do a pick up directly from the house Both ladies at the reception was very sweet.

Bed was comfortable, i enjoyed the large bathroom and it was nice to sit on a couch and have room service.

Surrounded by the Arctic wilderness, Snowhotel Kirkenes stands as a testament to innovation and adventure, offering an unforgettable experience year-round. The snow hotel is absolutely worth a visit. I had expected more like a very touristic and overrated place, but the room and the ice sculptures and the whole ice hotel was very-very impressive and almost magical! The stuff was very helpful during my whole stay, and the equipment (sleeping bag, balaclava, wollen socks) worked very well. The sauna is a highlight after a night in the cold, and the shower and bath room are very clean and nice. The breakfast was way better than at any other places in Norway with a large selection of delicious food and drink. I totally recommend to visit the hotel during the summer time, then you probably can have the whole place just for you or maybe with a couple of other guests.

We loved being totally surrounded by nature. The lodge is very comfortable and well maintained. Plus a hot tub on the roof! The restaurant wasn't open when we were there because there weren't enough people, but we actually loved being able to cook for ourselves. Overall it was a really unique and amazing stay. Wonderful time in Scandic Havet! It's close to the main streets in Bodø, it's close to the airport, the reception is very well decorated, the room for the breakfast is very spacious, I got an spacious, quiet & clean room, and with wonderful view!! Our quick stay at Fru Haugans in Mosjøen was a one-night stopover, but it was our favorite stay of the whole trip! We simply wish we had allocated more time, even if just to have a lovely extra night of sleep. The hotel itself was delightful, with an excellent mix of history and modern amenities and comforts. We had a beautiful view overlooking the water and the most peaceful night of sleep during our travels. Hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, our room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, we had an excellent breakfast in the morning, and were very happy with the on-site bar for an evening night-cap!
