Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Really good hospitality. They provided dinner (150dh per person) and breakfast at a time of our choosing (with 1 hour notice). The dinner is truly amazing, 3 courses and topped off with a delicious mousse. The staff also played light drumming which perfectly matched the setting. The tables were all lit by candlelight, which truly made the evening something special within the gorge. The cave rooms are warm but we were very comfortable. The shower was very powerful and amazing for an off grid setup. Actually one of the best showers we had even in such isolation in a gorge. This is the best hotel we stayed at whilst in Morocco. The price is mid range but the value is above what you pay. Definitely the best place we stayed on our road trip to Merzouga and chefchaouen. Free private parking right at the doorstep.

Kasbah Hnini features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Igdaoun. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Everything was amazing! Beautiful kasbah with the best view, delicious food and the most friendly staff. Our favorite place in our trip in Morocco.

Kasbah Itran provides accommodation in Kalaat MGouna. Boasting a concierge service, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a terrace. Nice structure with amazing view. Price very very convenient for quality of the accommodation and food. Waiters transformed themselves into singers as a ‘dessert’ after dinner

Oasis Tilogui in Zagora features a garden and a terrace. With an outdoor swimming pool, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Very friendly staff, food and service was excellent. Location is a bit further than we expected, but it wasn't a problem for us.

La perle de saghro in Nkob features 4-star accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. The kasbah was in great location. We asked for dinner, it was the best in our trip.

Riad Rihana Dades provides air-conditioned accommodation in Boumalne. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. At the hotel, each room includes a balcony. Spacious rooms, each room is unique and has beautiful modern furnishings. Our room had a terrace and was therefore bright. Staff was wonderful - very service-oriented, helpful, friendly. Breakfast is traditional. We even extended it by one night. Easy parking.

Hotel Riad Bahammou has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Aït Idaïr. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Riad Bahammou. The structure was very nice and clean, a bit old-fashioned and castle-like but it had its charm! The rooms were spacious and very clean, with two double beds, generous and clean bathroom and even a balcony with a view! The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, they did everything to make us feel at home. They were extremely attentive to our needs and just genuinely kind.The dinner was delicious! On the day we stayed the menu was exactly what we needed as it was the moment when our parents had a bit of a crisis during our longer stay in Morocco and were craving something without too much spices but still very tasty with fresh herbs! We arrived later in the afternoon and left early in the morning so we could not use and explore the terraces and the facilities of the hotel but it looked impressive!

Situated in Tinerhir, 5.5 km from Todgha Gorge, Auberge Camping Atlas features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The staff , Moulay and Ibrahim were so welcoming made us feel like we were at home. The facilities simple, very authentic Moroccan style and the surroundings were stunning . Everything was in working order, the AC, hot and cold water available and the pool was clean . The food was the best in the whole of Morocco, loved the veg tagine . Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Situated 18 km on the road of the Dades Gorges in Boumalne, Auberge La Vallée des Figues boasts a terrace overlooking the mountains and valleys. When we got to the place, I immediately noticed that this place seems really popular, and for good reason. Bob was a wonderful host, full of enthusiasm and very diligent. We were met with tea on arrival and he always made sure our needs were being met. We were asked ahead of time if we were going to have dinner with them and were glad we decided to. The multi-course dinner was good and huge for €15 per person. Breakfast was the typical Moroccan breakfast offering plus other stuff in the form of a buffet. The rooms are quite small and basic but clean and comfy. It is next to the road but the road is generally quiet even in the day and extra quiet from sunset onwards. We got a spacious balcony that opened up to a wonderful view of the gorge. We only stayed one night which seemed typical for many of the guests but this place seems to be run very well. Bob also explained how to get to the gorge in great detail. The beginning of the trail to the gorge is only a few minutes away on foot but you can also drive and park there. Bonus: Charlie the good girl is just the sweetest.
