Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. We were very happy to stay in this beautiful hotel with a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everything was fine. The rooms are modern and offer a fantastic view. The area is very nice and clean. The food at the Welligama Kitchen is definitely a highlight, and we enjoyed the excellent food and service a lot. We would like to express a special thank you to our personal "assistant," Nishadi; she was very kind and helpful. We would also like to thank the great kitchen and service team, with a special mention to Nazmi, Thiruna, and Fayaz. They truly made a difference by doing a fantastic job in making us feel very welcome and providing a high-end service. In conclusion, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, and culinary delights made it a truly memorable experience. Lots of restaurants close by. Kitchen provided so you can cook or have snacks available. Property kept in great condition and super stylish. Lovely staff as well who were helpful especially when we were trying to navigate the bus system or wanted to check in early.

Talalla beach is a very large and beautiful beach with very few people, and amazing views and warm water. It can be reached after a short walk through the property. There is a large variety of options on the menu with traditional Sri Lankan food and more.
