From the moment you arrive you know you’re somewhere special. The pagodas / rooms are right on the beach, 30 seconds or less and you’re on a beautiful private beach with cabanas you can snooze in all day long. More than this though, Whisky point is made by its owners Nico and Ana, who are two of the nicest people on this earth. From the moment you step into the paradise they’ve created they are so welcoming, you arrive as guests and leave like friends. We had many great chats with them, and will hopefully see them again before not too long. Last but not least, the food is incredible. Nico’s Italian menu is authentic and delicious - get the lasagne! This is one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed in - would wholeheartedly recommend and we will be back - thank you Nico and Ana!!!

We loved our stay at Lucky Bay - so much so we extended for a couple more nights. Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Mohammed is a wonderful, genuine, host who goes above and beyond to ensure you are happy and check if you need anything. He kindly brought us homemade cake each day, arranged surf lessons, changed money etc - nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend Lucky Bay if you come to Arugam Bay.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Garden beach hotel is situated in Arugam bay. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. definitely the best place in Arugam bay. Very close to the beach and various restaurants and bars. the beautiful garden is very quiet and the rooms very comfortable and clean (with nice shower and working AC!). but the best part is definitely the owner Kayum (nickname crocodile), a special person, super helpful and very nice and the best smile. He helped me with everything and also organized great safaris in Yala and in the lagoon. the breakfast is delicious, the best avocado toast I had in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, it just feels like home. Garden Beach Hotel is the place to be. Grazie Crocodile, you have a place in my heart!

Stayed here with my wife for 8 days. The best with Sea LA Vie is the hosts, they made us feel very welcome, they are humble and very helpful. We stayed at other places in the area and didn't always feel welcome and didn't receive the same service. It is very close to everything, but are not in a noicy area.

The Point Bay has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Arugam Bay. I loved my stay at The Point Bay! The room and bathroom were clean and there’s plenty of space. I work remotely and the room was perfect - there’s a desk and good internet. All of the staff are so kind and helpful, make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious and very generous, perfect after a surf! The accommodation is in a perfect spot to wander down to the beach/surf, with the supermarket, cafes and restaurants all super close.
