We loved our stay at Soames and will definitely book again if we're ever in Nanyuki. The room, bar area, location and setting were absolutely beautiful. We're also vegan, and the staff were amazing at ensuring we had multiple options to choose from on the menu. Really friendly staff -- an amazing, peaceful stay. Highly recommend!

Grounds are magnificent with plenty of activities at the hotel and close proximity to amazing safaris. Rolling hills with the stunning Mount Kenya in the background combined with roaming wildlife and activities make the hotel worth staying at for at least part of the trip rather than spending all day at safaris.

It was my first night from US and the place is exceptional. Naromoru, Nanyuki is a good place. Was able to view Mt Kenya from my room.

Set in Nanyuki, 44 km from Solio Game Reserve, Le Rustique offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything! ☀️ Le Rustique was an unexpected slice of heaven in Nanyuki. From the staff to the cottages to the cats, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottages are incredible - surrounded by trees and bush and greenery. Inside they are clean, spacious and comfortable yet also super cute and cosy. Housekeeping were exceptional - we were really impressed with their efforts and attention to detail. Furthermore, hot water bottles were provided which was just lovely. The whole atmosphere and environment cultivated at Le Rustique is just wonderful - you feel like you are at a wee lodge but with all creature comforts. The staff and restaurant was great. Food was superb and the staff were so friendly and lovely and welcoming. Thank you Maggie, Helen and Jeff (and all the others - I’m sorry for not getting your names!). They also have 3 cats who are residents of the hotel :) they are so well cared for by the staff and this was a highlight for us!
