Was a fairly large efficiently run hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful everything was clean, comfortable and worked. Best breakfast in Ireland. Made to order from extensive menu. Parking in lot across the street for 2 Euros a day. Close to town.

Localizado ao lado do Ashford Castle (castelo), o The Lodge at Ashford Castle está situado em meio a 4 hectares de jardins, com vista do Lough Corrib (lago), em Cong. Their shuttle service between points on the estate was a wonderful service and greatly appreciated. The Hawk Walk was a very special experience made even better by a warm welcome from Yvonne and by our lovely guide Neamh. The meals at The Lodge and at Cullens on the grounds of the estate were excellent.

We had dinner in the restaurant one night which was delicious and also the breakfast was great. Very much recommend this hotel.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Fab hotel lovely and clean nicely decorated rooms bathrooms and views. Staff all amazing especially restaurants staff and wee macs bar staff. The head barman very kind and accommodating for customers looking for tables to eat. !! Great food in all areas. Beautiful grounds and walks . Enjoyed the planned walks and our visit to cemetery to look up deceased members of our family a great stay all round.. next visit to mayo will definitely book again. We all agreed we didn't want to leave.
