Situated in Tzununá, 35 km from Volcano Atitlan, EL PICNIC ATITLÁN features accommodation with a garden, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Guests can make use of a bar. I don't know if I liked the view from the bed more or the view at breakfast, I will definitely never forget these views. I don't think you can get tired of them. There are small shops nearby, the route from the harbor to the accommodation is also manageable on foot (approx. 10 minutes), otherwise tuk-tuks are available for transportation. Village itself doesn't offer you much, but you can walk in 45 minutes to the nearby San Marcos La Laguna, where more life is available. The accommodation is wonderful, we slept with the tent open the entire time. I also recommend the dinner cooked by the owner, it is excellent. There is also an additional bar next to the accommodation where you can eat and drink during the day.

Every turn is a new nook. The views of the lake are the best. Restaurant was also good. The staff were some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Lots of good swimming areas.
