A Regency house overlooking Ullswater, the Macdonald Leeming House has an award-winning restaurant and views of the Cumbrian Fells. It is a 15-minute drive from the M6 motorway. My partner and I came to this hotel for our 1 year anniversary and New Years Eve. Every staff member we engaged with was welcoming and pleasant with smiles all around. The food was delicious and our room was large, warm and clean with views over the gardens and lake. (Room 1). We would be happy to stay again in future. The staff definitely deserve all the credit for our stay, we were very happy.

Patterdale Hotel ligger ved Ullswater Lake og tilbyr hjemmelaget mat, en hageterrasse og salonger med peis. Hotel Patterdale ligger mellom 2 naturskjønne fjellkjeder. it had everything we needed. rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. bar was great and entertainment good.

Absolutely fell in love with Barton Hall, spotlessly clean, beautiful decor and friendly staff, and the owner made us so welcome. I would recommend to everyone

Located just 21 km from Askham Hall, Old Water View offers accommodation in Patterdale with access to a garden, a bar, as well as private check-in and check-out. Everything! Lovely, friendly hosts, cozy resident lounge with log fire, stunning views, lovely character room with ensuite, great recommendation for dinner (Travellers Rest Inn, an easy, pretty flat walk apart from short incline at the end), fabulous breakfast.....and stayed in Alfred Wainwright's room apparently!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Lowthwaite B&B is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Watermillock, 13 km from Askham Hall. We had a wonderful stay. The whole place is quite romantic and relaxed. Decoration is very good and has a bit of history, that the host will tell you about. The bedroom has a bathroom (with a big bathtub) and another one with just a toilet, a small living room with TV and sofas, and a room with two twin bed, that they kindly displayed together since we were a couple. Toiletries, towels and bathrobes were provided and good quality. Everything was quite clean. The place is very quiet, no noise whatsoever and quite close to Ullswater. The hosts were amazing, giving us plenty of suggestions of what to do around the area, they respect your privacy while being completely available. You have a place to park easily, and the hosts gave accurate directions. Honestly my favourite part was the breakfast which was excellent!! Probably the best breakfast I ever had on a hotel/BB! Everything was very fresh and made with excellent ingredients - you have a time slot and let them know what you want in advance (you have several options) and they will cook in for that time, so everything is fresh and warm. We were very glad we chose this place and would definitely stay again.

Located in Patterdale and only 22 km from Askham Hall, Crookabeck B&B provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A lovely place with great hosts. The room was very spacious and had a lot of light, everything was clean. A lot of nature and walks around the B&B, an amazing view from the terrace. Also, we were absolutely stuffed after the breakfast, it was very good. I can definitely recommend this place

Located in Pooley Bridge in the Cumbria region, Woodhouse Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge was spotless and furnishings were so comfy. The owners have paid great attention to detail and their is everything you could possibly need. The views from the balcony is wonderful. Beautiful touches such as prosecco and fresh flowers on arrival. The hosts are on site due to being a working farm and they are so friendly nothing is to much for them. Only 10 mins walk into poorly bridge.
