So much work and soul has been put into building and running the place that it is impossible not to fall in love with it. It is simple accommodation which has everything you need. The food is great and always available.The staff are incredible - Mustafa made our lives so easy by organising our transfers, guide, hikes, and giving us advice and help - he even gave us his card when we left in case we had any problems when travelling around the other islands. Casa Marisa is a cornerstone of the community and you feel like you are part of it while you are there.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though some of them didn’t speak very good English, they made a lot of effort to communicate with us. And they were very patient with our many requests. They also allowed us to check in earlier and check our later with no additional fees. Truly the best staff. The place looks better in real life than in the photos. It really has a colonial vibe. The AC worked perfectly - probably the best we experienced during our trip to Cabo Verde. We had an amazing view of the city, the sea and the Brava island (room no 9)

Edificio Cosec Hotel ligger i Cova Figueira og har udendørs swimmingpool, fælles opholdsstue, restaurant og bar. The staff especially the owner Toni were so helpful in arranging transfers and organising our stay. The room was very nice and the swimming pool was great. The evening we stayed there coincided with an amazing event celebrating Women of Cape Verde with a banquet, disco and excellent live musicians. Toni helped us plan our walking tour to Alcatraz and Faja which was excellent. The hotel's location is good if you are planning hikes in the area (which is cooler than most of the island) such as around Estancia Roque and along the coast. The paths are well marked. Finally Toni made sure we got back to Sao Filipe ok when the normal aluguers werent't running as it was a holiday. I wish them all the lu ck in the world in making the hotel a success.
