Featuring a garden, terrace and views of sea, ALMA CHILOTA is located in Castro, 11 miles from Nuestra Señora de los Dolores Church. What a wonderful B&B. We stayed in room #6. It had the most amazing view of the water. We saw dolphins, black-necked swans and seals from our window. I’d definitely recommend asking for this room if you’re planning on staying here. The location is excellent - really close to several great restaurants and the downtown area. We parked our rental car right outside the door on the street and had no issues. Our host was super kind - we had to leave early to catch a flight and she pre-made us a very nice breakfast. The perfect host - highly recommend.

Very friendly staff always willing to help even though we were running late. Breakfast was amazing, all prepared fresh and lots of it. In general, the food available (also lunch and or dinner) was very tasty. Amazing view of the sunset from the room window.

They were eager to give us recommendations about tours, restaurants and just general knowledge about Chiloé. The hostel itself is clean and comfortable, with big rooms and multiple bathrooms. It is located less than a minute away from the municipal bus terminal, where all the long distance buses to and from the island go.
