Set in a colonial style building featuring a garden and a restaurant, Hotel Jardin Atacama offers heated rooms with private bathrooms. The staff were great. The garden and rooms were lovely and there was a water machine to top up your bottles which was very handy! Also, everything was very clean which isn’t easy in the desert!

Situated in San Pedro de Atacama, 7.3 km from Piedra del Coyote, Nueva Lodge Estación San Pedro de Atacama features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden... Air conditioning! This place is one of the few hotels that has air conditioning in some of their rooms. Definitely needed since this is a super hot and dry climate. Xiaolin was one of the best hosts that we have ever had. She went above and beyond. I was feeling sick and she went grocery shopping for some hot soup and noodles. She even made me some fried eggs to go into the soup. She was very responsive to all of our questions and very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough and most of it is due to her.

Located in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote, Hotel Desertica has a garden, as well as free WiFi. The hotel is an oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. very well located. the rooms are very clean with nice amenities and extremely comfortable! Everything at the hotel is nicely decorated- the rooms as well the common area. breakfast and dinner as well the drinks are also very good! There is nothing we could have asked more. My husband and I are heavy travellers and we are very picky when it comes to accommodation and especially food. Nevertheless Hotel Desertica managed to tick all the boxes for pretentious guests:). But the staff is what this accommodation is all about. once we got to Calama and took the rented car we headed to Jumbo supermarket to buy some things. once we exit the supermarket our car was broken in and all our stuff stolen- electronics, clothes, shoes, literally everything!! I called the hotel to tell them and to ask for their help and they immediately asked to talk to the police and facilitate our communication with them. once we arrived to the hotel every member of the staff acted so kind and empathetic. They always went above and beyond to help us and feel better despite what happened. And all that effort they put in really worked. they made a huge difference in our mood for this holiday. We could not be more grateful and we do not know how we could ever return the favour. Cristobal, Silvia , Carolina, Estrella, Freddy thank you for everything! Super friendly and helpful. Alex goes out of his way to make you feel very comfortable and ensures that you really enjoy your stay. He even helped us book our transfers and helped with our tours.  Hotel:  The hotel is in a very quiet location. It is beautiful and has lots of greenery and a very calming feeling when you're there. There's a nice area to sit by a fireplace and enjoy a drink, or you can hop into a hammock and do some stargazing. There's also a nice pool to jump into when it gets hot during the day. Room: Super comfortable bed. Room has a fridge which they provide filtered water in. Bathroom is great, fantastic shower. Much needed after a hot day in the desert. There's wifi everywhere so you'll be able to keep up to date on everything internet related. Food: Hotel booking includes buffet breakfast. Really good spread including fresh fruits and produce from the trees in the hotel. They even Cook fresh eggs for you, perfect fried eggs. You can also have dinner if you like to. Location: The hotel is about 3kms from the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. Alex runs a free shuttle service to and from town so it's super easy to get there and back and nice to be away from the noise in the centre. It's super peaceful and relaxing.

Only 100 metres from Caracoles, the town's main street, Pascual Andino has cosy rooms in San Pedro de Atacama. A daily buffet breakfast is offered. Wi-Fi and private parking are free. loved staying here Facilities and staff were excellent. Small pool but I just waned to cool down Staff were amazingly helpful sorting a few travel problems I had
