Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Great relaxed place with an excellent swimming beach and a short walk to a great bar (Boat Shed) and cafe (Koru). Could not be in a more stunning location. A bit isolated from the rest of the island but that is a positive in my view, especially given the stunning location. Really friendly management and staff. Rooms cleaned daily. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here when we next visit Aitutaki.

Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodations on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkeling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. Great accommodation and staff! Loved swimming to the pontoon every day and filming the marine life!

Set alongside Aitutaki Lagoon, this resort offers 3 beachfront bungalows. Aitutaki Seaside Lodges is located in Amuri, 5 minutes' drive from Aitutaki Airport. Spacious bungalows with kitchen. Location right on the beach with kayaks. The location was really private and felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. If you don’t have a car (like us) there’s only really one restaurant within walking distance, so worth stocking up on enough food from the grocery store. A great stay!

Located in Amuri, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Resort Tava'e has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. There was not any food service at the resort but they had a wonderful kitchen that enabled us to cook meals ourselves

Rangiriri Vacay offers accommodations in Amuri, a 18-minute walk from Aitutaki Beach. This vacation home provides free private parking and free shuttle service. Very friendly owner helps a lot. House is tidy and with good location.

Located in Amuri in the Aitutaki region and Aitutaki Beach reachable within a 9-minute walk, Sunny Beach Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Where do I even start… Nik is by far the best host we have ever had in all our years of travel! He checks in with you everyday to make sure you are having the best time possible. If you need anything- he says “leave it to me” and takes care of it all! He went above and beyond to help us find out important information when we ran into issues with our flights home. I can truly say that he is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and we cannot thank him enough for making us feel like family! We were also lucky enough to be able to upgrade from the garden units to one of the beach front bungalows for 4 out of the 5 nights of our stay - which was fantastic! The amenities at Sunny Beach Lodge go on and on: Free airport transportation, free wifi, free toiletries, free use of kayaks and bicycles, and a laundry service! It is also located right next to a convenience/takeaway store, and a 24 hour store that sells food and alcohol a short walk away! I could go on and on about how great this place is - so please, do yourself a favour, and stay here when you find yourself in the paradise that is Aitutaki! You won’t regret it! Heaven to Sea Beach Villas is a recently renovated villa in Amuri where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. This place is kept immaculately clean and manicured, from the villas, bathroom and hardwood deck floor, to the gardens and the beach (the team rake and tidy the beach for you each morning) and the villa is appointed with every little touch you could imagine - the UV after filter, air conditioning, outside shower, kayaks and bikes. The photos do not do it justice! Mere is the most spectacular host who has thought of everything and delivers the most astounding service - very responsive to every question or request. I was part of a larger group who stayed at a number of resorts, hotels and villas across the island. I got to see them all - some more expensive & some cheaper - none of them came close to Heaven to Sea. We felt very lucky to have found this wonderful place, run by wonderful people who go the extra mile to make everything perfect!

We liked the easy access to the beach. It was close to convenience stores. We liked that it felt secluded and that there were kayaks and snorkel gear. Having a kitchenette was nice. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Fresh fruit every morning, very clean rooms, kitchen and social area and very affordable in-house scooter/bicycle hire. Close to Arutonga for shops, takeaways and Scuba diving at 'Bubbles Below'. Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Can't wait to go back!
