The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. This hotel is beautiful! A lovely property that has been well looked after and the staff are very attentive. We visited at Christmas time and the lobby had the most amazing Christmas tree and festive decorations. Our rooms had views of Lake Lucerne and the alps which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The breakfast is served in what looks like a ball room! Lots of breakfast options and really nice extra's like chocolates and cakes in our room. Definitely recommend.

Decor is simple but works well as the natural outdoor scenery shines bright.

A hotel with a unforgettable view. Making the trip to the hotel is very fun and our kids loved it. Once the day tourists leave we felt like we had the whole mountain top to ourselves. Definitely happy we woke up early to watch the sunrise.

The Art Deco Hotel Montana offer rooms as well as luxurious spa suites with panoramic views of Lake Lucerne, the city and the Alps. Almost everything. Decor was elegant and modern. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowed us late checkout and sent up amenities very fast. Room with balcony had amazing view. The funicular was also very convenient since the hotel is a bit up the hill. It actually very nice because the view is better higher up. Bathroom was very well equipped even with a nice hairdryer.

Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel can be found right in the heart of the car-free village of Stoos ob Schwyz at 4265 feet above sea level, next to ski slopes and hiking paths. The owners were incredibly nice, helpful and accommodating. The spa was lovely after the Stoos ridge hike we did. The food was exceptional.

Host Sonja is soooo friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to provide exceptional service and extra touches. The parking spot in the underground garage was terrific. In my opinion, Brunnen is the perfect place to experience Lake Lucerne - the mountains are magnificent on the north and east ends of the Lake. And the city of Lucerne is only 30 minutes away.

Very comfortable room with a really nice view of Lake Lucerne with mountains in the background. Mt. Rigi is just across the lake and there is an unobstructed view of the summit. I don't know the age of the hotel but has the appearance of being old, yet has modern facilities. Breakfast was nice and included hot items. There is a small well-stocked grocery within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was geared towards the residents but still had a nice selection of snacks and drinks.

The view of Lake Lucerne from our room and balcony was wonderful. We really enjoyed the peaceful area also (not busy like Lucerne but close enough to get there by car or ferry). The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations. There's a cable car lift to a high vantage point within walking distance to the hotel. We wanted to do it but it was raining hard during that available time so we couldn't.

A wonderful lakeside hotel with exceptional management and staff. We received 5 star treatment throughout our brief stay and will definitely make a plan to return in the near future. The breakfast was amazing with the full spread of hot and cold choices on offer. Our lake facing room had spectacular views of the majestic snow covered Alps as well as the tranquil waters of lake Lucerne.

A very nice stay. We love this quiet little town on Lake Lucerne. It is truly a gem when visiting this area. The view of the lake is unbeatable from this hotel with very easy access to swimming in the lake. The hotel is very nice, very clean, excellent staff and wonderful food. The hotel has an amazing location, right next to Lake Lucerne and 10 minute walk from Weggis ferry stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room with private bathroom were very clean. The view from the room and balcony was amazing. The swimming pools were great, especially the outdoor pool with the stunning view.
