Detta historiska hotell byggdes på 1890-talet och var ett av de första i Lauterbrunnen. Det familjeägda Hotel Staubbach erbjuder panoramautsikt över vattenfallet Staubbachfall och Lauterbrunnendalen. The hotel is very well located, it’s on the main street of the village, close to the waterfall and the rooms have beautiful views to the mountains. The breakfast buffet had many options and the stuff were very friendly. We did our check in with Adam who was very helpful, he gave us tips where to go and what to visit and he let us to leave our bags until check in time, but all the other receptionists Maria and Tristan were very helpful too. The Hotel has a “picnick” room which I found very thoughtful, it has tables where you can eat your meal that you brought with you, it had also a bar with a microwave and a kettle , basically a self serving kitchen. They also have a lounge area where you can have tea and coffe all day for free even while you wait to check in or if you checked out but you’re waiting for your train. Overall everything was great in this hotel we were very satisfied during our stay. Thank you 🤍

Our room had a huge private terrace and the views were unbelievable. I heard clanging one morning we were there and was delighted to see cows parading through the street right below us! The bus stop is literally right across the street so super convenient. Ideal location as it is super walkable to shops and restaurants but not quite in the noisier heart of it all. The staff was kind and attentive and it was a huge bonus to have laundry available in the basement. The toiletries provided in the room smelled amazing. The restaurant was top notch, we dined there our first night. To end our stay, we got a lovely Swiss chocolate bar as we checked out :)

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train. Hotel staff was friendly and understanding. Even though my English is not good, they always helped me in communication. I had two days like a dream. Thank you very much. Food and service were great. My room was clean and of very good quality. The view from my room was magnificent.

Helmysigt, väldigt retro, men det framgår ju av namnet. Läget perfekt för tågresenärer, fyra minuters resa från Interlaken, och fem minuters promenad. Floden framför hotellet och träbron över den gillade alla i gruppen, kyrkklockorna var det dock delade meningar om. God frukost. Prisvärt. Bra utgångspunkt för utflykter i Jungfrau-området.

Everything perfect. Top tier service. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. This is the peak of hospitality. Far better than most 5-star hotels. Next time I'm in Grindelwald, I will most definitely stay at Eiger Mountain Resort again and again and again. You won't find better service, comfort or convience anywhere else. Conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the train stop. Superb breakfast with lots of food options to choose from. Superb.

Our host, Mrs. Vera Brawand-Kung, can be defined without exaggeration as a master of details! Everything is perfectly arranged, the attention given to the guests, the way they ensure that the staff is impeccable makes the option for this location a correct one.
