Haven Inn & Suites Downtown Houston. Is set in Houston, 11 km from Wortham Center and 11 km from Alley Theater. The 2-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. Now this was a good surprise! For a motel, this sure comes across as a decent affordable hotel. The place is clean, well maintained, parking is fine. I've stayed here twice on my trip, two different rooms, so a decent sample. The showers work, good pressure, warm works excellently. Paint and maintenance all look like it is recently well maintained. Breakfast was also the best I had anywhere, decent variation of choices, including several warm options. If they keep this up, this is a place I'll for sure get back to on my next trip through Houston. Best price/quality I've seen on my Texas trip, and I've seen a bunch of places. If you keep in mind this is a motel, you will for sure be contented and I expect as pleasantly surprised as I was.

HH Creek Inn is located in Seymour. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Room was very large and comfortable and relaxing. Walk in shower and LARGE towels were awesome. Plenty of eating options nearby. Overall stay was excellent.

Pool was great, it was heated, so we could come back from the beach and continue the fun. Easily walkable to the beach. Rooms were well equipped with a fairly full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was well designed. Staff went out of their way to reunite a lost bag with my 10 year old, so extremely happy with the service. Breakfast was well stocked, with lovely staff. Even a secondhand bookshop, where you could swap a book.

This Pearsall motel, located off Interstate 35, features a Texas shaped outdoor pool. Longhorn Athletic Field is 15 minutes’ walk from the motel. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the motel. Very basic clean and comfortable room in a safe location. Nothing fancy but everything was up to a good standard. The check in was simple. The area is quiet and it is easy to get a good nights rest.
