Donna and Ted were there to welcome us on the jetty which was sooo welcoming after a particularly rough ferry ride They helped with the luggage and made sure we were comfortable That truly made our stay special

Stewart Island's iconic South Sea Hotel is located on the foreshore, in the centre of town. It is 2 minutes’ walk from the ferry and airline terminals. The property is just across the street from the beach in Oban. It has a bar and cafe on premise which I enjoyed.
