Owner is very kind to lend us bike, olive oil, and vinegar for short-distance trips and cooking in the kitchen of the room. The property is well-equipped with basically whatever you need! Check-in was also speedy and owner as always gave a bottle of milk though we are lactose intolerant.

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Perfect location and friendly people.

Mountain Chalets is just 5 minutes’ drive from Lake Ruataniwha. It features a barbecue area with outdoor seating and unlimited free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. The location and the chalet were both perfect. We were lucky enough to wake up the next morning to snow falling. Just beautiful and so special.

The room, bathroom are very clean and spacious; The host (cum the staff) is nice and helpful. Parking is right in front of the accommodation. Very good location, close to the town center, supermarket and shops. Twizel is small, by the way. Don't forget to visit the salmon farm near Twizel: very fresh and with reasonable price.

Cosy room just off the main street in Fairlie. Room has a small courtyard, though it was a bit too cold to use, a spacious bathroom, and a big comfy bed. The dimplex heater with faux coals helped make the room feel even cosier. Room also has off street parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful, as well as pointing us to the excellent Carnegie's restaurant for dinner.

Best accommodation in our one month stay in NZ. The landlady was very friendly! I can recommend this place for everyone!

Burkes Pass Country Motels er staðsett við Burkes Pass-innganginn að Mackenzie Country en það er miðsvæðis fyrir skíðaferðir á Mt Dobson og Roundhill og dagsferðir til Mt Cook. Everything was new and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice to have a full size fridge. We drove 7k to Kimbell and had a wonderful dinner at the Creekside pub. It was fun taking the walking tour around Burkes pass the next morning. An interesting historical place.
