I love the personalised care that is put into the property, and stepping into the courtyard. I like being able to cook and having the Chestnut streeet market nearby was great.

The colorful Castro District in San Francisco is home to this charming motel, nestled on a tree-lined street near local attractions. Free WiFi and free parking are included.

It is a safe neighborhood, considering that it is San Francisco. The stairs that lead to the rooms can be accessed only with key cards, so it feels safe. We asked for a microwave, and they gave us one. There is a safe, coffee machine and a mini fridge in the room. Parking is free and there was always enough space to park. They have a nice deck to sit on and fabulous coffee house (Peet's) across the street. The same coffee capsules are also provided in the room. The beds are comfortable and the toiletries nice.

Francisco Bay Inn, motel a San Francisco

Situated on the famous “crooked” Lombard Street and just 6.4 km from the Golden Gate Bridge, Francisco Bay Inn provides free guest parking.

We liked the location on Lombard, near Van Ness. We had a very pleasant stay. On the 4th floor you can see the GGB, the room was big enough for a couple and a kid and the room and the bathroom were very clean. One of our best stays in California! I recommend the place and I would come back without any hesitation if I had to visit San Francisco again! The head is very available and compliant : we could have a 1h-earlier check-in to avoid leaving our luggage in the car when parked and this is very nice. Thank you and go on this way!
