It’s set in a beautiful area! The staff was excellent and very accommodating. Very cozy, the room I was in was nice and big. If you like to walk and explore there are lovely trails and an easy nature walk.

3 mins walk from Coombe Lodge Wedding Venue, Coombe Lodge Farm House is set in a peaceful location overlooking Blagdon Lake. Everything, absolutely everything. Attention to detail, the breakfasts especially the coffee, The house has charm and character, the location is peaceful. Jenny is a fantastic host and mixes very well with her guests. I for one would love to return again in the future.

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... The history, the staff, the location, the room, the gin, the bed, the bathroom, the pillows, the breakfast, the grounds, the church bells. This was our last night's accommodation in the UK after a month of travel. So lucky to spend our last night at Thornbury. A perfect 10!!!!!
