The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

I don’t even know where to begin. Lizi and her family were the most wonderful hosts. So warm and friendly and responsive to our questions. She told me all the best places to go for antique shopping and hiking to the channel. And the cottage was newly renovated and exquisite in every detail. From the large, newly built wardrobe to the medallions and light fixtures on the ceilings to the beautiful lighting in the kitchen. Even the path to the hot tub was magical. Lizi even had homemade bread and eggs and milk for us. We will never forget you. You made so many memories for us in 48 short hours. Come to Texas and I’ll roll out the red carpet for YOU next time. Located in Dartmouth, 42 km from Exeter, Waterfront House provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. The units feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. The location, welcome, room, breakfast and facilities were excellent. We loved our stay in Dartmouth and Waterfront House.

This farmhouse is charming and comfortable with a feeling of authentic English history to it. The owners are lovely people and breakfast was perfect, Nice, well equiped room and bathroom. I really enjoyed my stay. I personally loved the very soft bed, but some would find it too soft.

Situated in Tavistock, Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a bar. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk. At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. This has to have one of the best pub restaurants in England, every meal I had was excellent. the staff were always friendly and efficient.

Caroline and Colin really do a superb job. The full English breakfast was served in their lovely dining room overlooking their terrace and gardens. Everything was elegant and of the highest standard. Caroline could not have been more accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Andrew was a great host and we felt that we were treated like royalty, the best breakfast we have ever had. We cannot recommend highly enough.
