We liked the room size and the bathroom size and fixtures and the very cool architectural adaptation of the space. Everyone has done a great job and the hotel felt brand new (it is almost four years old). Breakfast buffet and menu combination was excellent and the service was cheerful. A perfect hotel experience. Also, the staff were very hospitable and helpful.

The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms clean, modern and spacious and the food in the pub was fantastic.

Gorgeous property, comfortable and luxurious with lovely period features and artwork. Every detail was perfect. The breakfasts are out of this world! Superb hosting. Fabulous location. We had a wonderful stay.

We were made very welcome on arrival. The room was lovely with a very nice shower unit. Comfy bed and a nice hospitality tray for tea / coffee etc. Breakfasts were very good and nicely made. Everything was well thought out and spotlessly clean. We'd not been to this specific part of Cornwall and the owners gave us some recommendations for places to visit, all of which turned out to be good choices. "Charlestown" is very close and is a stunning little coastal town with one of the most inspiring harbours we've seen yet. The more recent episodes of "Poldark" were filmed there as we understand and it has the right look, with real sailing ships moored. Parking was easy and the views were literally stunning. We visited both nights that we were staying. First night we ate at "The Rashleigh Arms" and enjoyed the food there. The harbour is surrounded with a number of little eating and drinking places so "al-fresco" was definitely the thing and we ate at one of them the second night. A lovely experience. We also went to "St Mawes". A lovely place again. Not to be missed. We were lucky with the weather .... wall-to-wall sun and blue skies but Cornwall can be lovely at any time. Penarth was a nice place to stay and we would do again.

Lovely house and very good confortable spacious room. Owners were extremely friendly and ready to provide information on Cornwall and sites. Ben is a great cook and made us superb breakfasts!

Perfectly positioned for walking into looe village, hosts, Donna and Dave are delightful ! Couldn't wish for nicer people . Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it ,room was spotlessly clean and spacious xxx
