A newly opened hotel which completely exceeded our expectations and is only 5 minutes walk from the most famous Christmas market (with a Christmas tree). The hotel was exquisitely decorated and the new facilities were well equipped. All the staff was very friendly and the reception gave us a free room upgrade, which was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. In addition, the breakfast was very varied and all delicious.

Set in a historical building of the 18th century, this hotel is located in Strasbourg, only 200 metres from the city centre. Hotel Les Haras features a spa and offers massages with CODAGE products. Wonderful design in every details. A beautiful place close to the main attractions but not noisy with an inner courtyard where guests can sit and have coffee. Excellent staff, rich, healthy breakfast. Great spa. Kept stylish references to the origins of the old building.

Located opposite Strasbourg TGV Train Station, this eco-friendly Boutique Hotel is just 1.7 km from the city centre and a 5-minute walk from the picturesque Petite France district. Great location near Gare de Strasbourg and very close to city center. Stilish rooms and super clean hotel overall. I liked that we managed to rent our bikes directly from the hotel and they were almost new, worked perfectly for us.

Au Grenier à Sel Colmar offers accommodation within 100 metres of the centre of Colmar, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. It is a top location flat, with charm, but modern at the same time. Everything is super. I felt a smell of strong chemicals usually used to cover up bad smoking smell. It is a non- smoking apartment but it seems that some previous guests did not respect thie house rules. Camille was a super host and apartment is charming...so it is still 10 out of 10. 😊

Located in the old town, Staedel in the heart of the northern Vosges,100 metres from the Château de la Petite Pierre, Les Chambres - Au Grès du marché provides a restaurant and free WiFi. I don't even know how to start expressing the enthusiasm after staying in this place. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. In real life, the place is much more beautiful than the pictures. The property is so beautifully designed and arranged and it's a mixture of very modern design with traditional/keeping it's origins. Beautiful! Spotless clean! There is also a common area on the ground floor, to hang out, and a fully equipped kitchen (with a big fridge). There is also a coffee machine and tea maker. In the area there aren't many options for grocery shopping, as the place is rather remote, so, make sure you come prepared in case you do not want to eat out. There are restaurants opened in the village center, in case the restaurant from the hotel is not opened. Oh, and the other shops in the village and around usually open around 10:00 (la boulagerie though, was opened around 06:00 or 07:00 - I cannot remember exactly as I was blinded by the tastiness of those amazing gorgeous products that I purchased from them, hehehehe). The breakfast was soooooo delicious. And the croissants....divine! There was also a huge range of local honey and local jams (all absolutely amazing). The bread was perfection as well. Another thing that I found amazing was the how the owner would switch from speaking French, to speaking English, to speaking German! There are plenty of things to do in and around this little gem of a village, so I would definitely return for a longer stay, to also go hiking around the area.
