Sonas Boutique Hotel is a quirky little gem in town that is perfect for a one-night stay during your Garden Route journey. The hotel boasts a fabulous pool and rooms that are both stylish and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and found it to be a great place to relax and recharge. The restaurant recommended by the host was simply amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a great selection of food and wine. The menu was diverse and catered to all tastes, and the quality of the dishes was exceptional. We especially enjoyed the local wines and the unique twists on classic dishes. The service was attentive and made us feel like VIPs. Overall, we had a great experience at Sonas Boutique Hotel and the restaurant. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay and an exceptional dining experience during their Garden Route trip.

Amazing place! We stayed in Thylitshia Villa Country Guest House only for one night. Nevertheless, we had a great time! Our room was well equipped and clean. The host was very nice and for dinner prepared for us his famous delicious ostrich. Our car had been washed in the morning, which was a really nice surprise after two days of safari in Addo Elephant Park :-) Strongly recommend this place to everybody as most likely you will not find a better place in Oudtshoorn area!

The bathroom is amazing, kitchen really well equipped and the bedroom spacious and beautifully decorated. Full DSTV which is a plus. Lovely touches like a slab chocolate for each guest, best quality everything! Super quick response from the host.

Stop looking further and book the Zwartberg Mountain View Lodge, it is magnificent! We stayed for two nights with our four children (9-14 yrs) and absolutely loved the lodge, the view, the animals on the grounds, the pool, the braai dinners and the walking trail. Varley and Hannalize are fantastic and helpful hosts and we very much enjoyed talking to them about life in SA as well as the many great sites in the area. We could easily have stayed another night or two. A highlight on our trip. Easy accessible with any car. Hope that we will visit again one day!
