We loved everything about Oakfield House. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, the room was very clean. On top of that, the hosts were very friendly, welcoming and generous. We also loved the location. It’s a lovely 10 minute walk from the centre of town.

Jackie was a friendly and hospitable host with great recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area. The parting gift of warm Welsh cakes was so very sweet (and delicious 😊). Our room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious and made to order. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Snowdonia area. It is a wonderful spot to relax but also to serve as a base camp for Snowdonia activities.

I stayed in Garth Dderwen for some walking in Snowdonia and wasn't disappointed. Hosts Chris and Julie were exceptional and couldn't do enough for their guests and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the locality and beyond. There is a very warm and friendly atmosphere which made me feel right at home.
