My family and I were lucky to be there. Spoiled location, old town, very comfortable and cozy area. At the villa, everything is thought out to the smallest details. The luxurious taste of the hostess created an indescribable French atmosphere. Every morning it is possible to have a leisurely breakfast on the veranda. We will be happy to return next time. We arrived by bike, but the room wasn't ready as we were early. The bikes were securely stored without issue, and given a complimentary drink while we waited. This is a boutique style hotel by the river. All staff were very pleasant and we had an enjoyable stay with a great selection for breakfast. We opted for a better room when booking and this was excellent - large with great sized shower and separate toilet. It was quiet, despite being in the centre of Bayonne, with a small balcony. We were able to enjoy a quiet drink when getting back to the hotel after dinner in the covered outdoor area and enjoyed a great breakfast the following morning. The staff were very attentive, we never had to 'catch someone's eye'.
