Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Everything: the place is lovely, there are opportunities to walk around and observe the old mining ventilation shaft, the breakfast is outstanding.(homemade meat, cheese and other supplements). Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Beautiful accomodation, amazing garden, very quiet and safe. We really enjoyed company of our hosts who shared with us many interesting things about life in South Africa. They also helped us with everything. We could even get litchi from their lichi tree :) We felt very welcomed and had a good time.

Highly recommend this lodge if you search something more intimate. Food is amazing, the game drives are fun and rich, and everything is made for you to feel the best.

Nastanitev Kruger Shalati - Train on The Bridge & Garden Suites je od znamenitosti Skukuza Indigenous Plants Nursery oddaljena 10 km in nudi restavracijo, zunanji bazen, vrt ter skupni prostor za... Just an incredible hotel, I didn't want to leave. The quality of the rooms is amazing (I stayed in a room off the train and inside it was actually even better than the carriages - only missed out on the view and novelty). Food was also fantastic and service very friendly. The pool/bar area is a breathtaking place with constant hippo views while we were there and fantastic bar service. The best thing was the game drives - Sizwe was the best, charismatic and took time to show us stuff he knew we'd be interested in.
