The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. Everything was perfect. The location is the best. It is quite, cosy, near the lake. The host was extremely nice and hospitality. We have got room upgrade for free. The rooms are cozy and beautiful. Such a beautiful and quiet place with good food! We were picked up with a 4x4 to get to the hotel, because there was no paved road. We made use of the private sauna and had a good look at the moon with the telescope they had, it was amazing 🤗 we made hikes directly from Andolia in the mountains and relaxed at the fireplace at night. The staff was very friendly and we are sure we want to come back again!

Right in the middle of the two restaurants in Pestera (one SUPER vegan friendly, also a massage/yoga/spa place so expensive, and the other with an extensive traditional Romanian cuisine menu with huge portions.. and very affordable !) Our host was sweet and kind and made my husband and I an amazing breakfast catered to our dietary requirements and hunger levels. Impeccable facilities and cleanliness. We wish we stayed more than one night!!
